Between 1941 and 1943, within the ghetto in Krakow, there was a pharmacy run by the Pole, Tadeusz Pankiewicz. Thanks to the work in the ghetto, Pankiewicz, along with his workers, had an opportunity to help the Jewish population and described those tragic events in a book published after the war The Krakow Ghetto Pharmacy. Today, in the Eagle Pharmacy, which is a branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow, there is a permanent exhibition showing the fate of the Jews in the Krakow ghetto and the activity of Tadeusz Pankiewicz.
