Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Brunary Wyżne

The church was built in the 18th century. Despire reconstruction, it has maintained the features of the Western-Lemko church. The interior is decorated with polychrome from the late 19th century. Inside, there is a Baroque iconostasis, 2 Baroque altars and one Rococo altar. Attention is also drawn by the beautifully decorated pulpit, music choir loft and Rococo bench. Since 2013, the church has been in the UNESCO World Heritage List along with 15 wooden Orthodox churches in the Polish and Ukrainian region of the Carpathians.
