Greek-Catholic Church of the Intercession in Owczary

Built in the 17th century, it is one of the most beautiful objects of wooden architecture in Poland. The church is decorated with figural and ornamental polychrome from the beginning of the 20th century. In the temple, complete furnishings have been preserved consisting of an iconostasis and two Baroque altars from the 18th century. In the chancel, there is also a small altar with an icon of Christ Pantocrator. In 2013, the church was honoured by being inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
