St. Paraskeva Church in Kwiatoń

St. Paraskeva Church in Kwiatoń

The church was built in the second half of the 17th century. Due to its proportions, it is considered one of the most beautiful Orthodox churches in Poland. It is difficult to disagree with this opinion, since this church is a perfect example of Lemko church architecture. The interior of the temple is decorated with unique polychrome from 1811. Noteworthy is also an iconostas by Michał Bogdański from 1904 and two side altars with the icons of the Virgin Mary with the Infant. In 2013, the church was honoured by being inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
